Our good friends at the Friends of Bowker Creek Society are looking for help with some weeding; see their request below and contact them directly to lend a hand:
It’s spring and the rain garden plants are starting to grow, as well as some weeds! So we are planning the rain garden maintenance program at our two school locations – Monterey Middle School, 851 Monterey Avenue and Campus View Elementary, 3900 Gordon Head Road.
If you are willing and able to help with tasks such as weeding and spreading wood chips. please would you respond to this email? We will put you on the call out list for the two hour maintenance sessions.
Our proposed dates are as follows for the next few months:
Saturday April 27th 2-4pm
Sunday May 5th 10-12 pm
Saturday May 25th 2-4pm
Sunday June 9th 10-12 pm
Saturday June 29th 2-4pm
