Camas Day May 5th 12:00 – 3:00pm

Friends of Uplands Park acknowledges that Uplands Park and Oak Bay are on the ancestral territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən people, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We respect and honour their vital relationship with these lands and waters and how they have stewarded them through countless generations.

Continuing to today and into the future, they have shaped these ecosystems to the incredible beauty and biodiversity that abounds around us today.
As we come together to celebrate spring, we offer respect, honour, and gratitude for their stewardship.

Join us for an afternoon of festivities, food, and fun on Sunday May 5th from 12:00 – 3:00pm!

The celebration will include performances by the Bald Eagles soft rock band, as well as food, drinks, family activities, prizes and guided wildflower walks through Uplands Park.

There is no cost to attend.

Partner organizations with displays on site include:
