Hello Friends, SAVE THE DATES about these upcoming concerts on Climate Change and Nature!
From FOUP Director David Newell:
“On my son Geoffrey Newell’s Friends of Uplands Park bird walk I started chatting with a man, little did I know, who through music is spearheading a culture of change. I asked him to speak up on the bird walk out at Cattle Point, in Uplands Park. I have since found out that this delightful man was Dr. Jon O’Riordan, former Deputy Minister of the B.C. Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management amongst many other titles and positions concerning the saving of the environment. In memory of his wife, he is asking that we save the date and spread the word of 6 upcoming concerts! We will be sending you reservation and ticket information as soon as it is available.
Gail O’Riordan was passionate about the performing arts. The Gail O’Riordan Climate and the Arts Legacy Series is established to combine the emotional power of music and the performing arts with helping to inspire audiences to make personal pledges to change behaviour to contribute to a carbon-neutral future. Simply put, Gail believed self-interest must be harmonized with the Earth’s welfare.”
