Dear Friends of natural area parks in Oak Bay,

The United Nations Decade of Invasive Removal is from Saturday June 4 through to Sunday June 12.

Please consider helping to Make a Difference by joining one or more or our work parties.  You will have a lot of laughs and fun joining Friends of Uplands Park…and will feel important for helping one of the most endangered ecosystems in Canada, and the most diverse in BC.

JOIN US! Your volunteer hours are counted towards applying for a federal grant for Oak Bay Parks. Furthermore, you will be helping the over 20 rare and endangered plants in Uplands Park survive, some of which are also in other natural areas of Oak Bay.

WE NEED YOU SO THAT OUR CONTRIBUTION IS AT OR NEAR THE TOP FOR THIS WEEK!
