Uplands Park and Oak Bay are on the ancestral territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən people, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We respect and honour their vital relationship with these lands and waters and how they have stewarded them through countless generations, continuing to the present and into the future. Friends of Uplands Park is a non-profit society with the mission to create opportunities for stewardship, education and inspiration within and for Uplands Park and Cattle Point, as well as other natural areas within Oak Bay, British Columbia. Friends of Uplands Park Mandate: a. Support initiatives for protecting the ecosystems of Uplands Park. b. Educate our community on the natural and cultural history of Uplands Park. c. Celebrate the creativity inspired by Uplands Park. d. Facilitate research/documentation focusing on Uplands Park e. Seek out local knowledge about Uplands Park.

    Donate to support the volunteer work of FOUP to restore Garry Oak and associated systems and become a member of the society. All donations go directly to support restoration efforts through purchasing tools, native plants and other materials/supplies/services in support of our volunteer work. ************************************************************************************** Suggested minimum donations: $10 - individual membership $20 - family membership ************************************************************************************** Please note Friends of Uplands Park Society is NOT a Registered Charity with the Canada Revenue Agency.
