Hi Friends,
On August 10 from 10am-Noon, you are invited to come help remove invasive vegetation from a section of Beach Drive. The area is approximately 500 meters south of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel.
This project is being hosted by our good friend Jacquie Bird and is being run in conjunction with Oak Bay Parks Coolkit Program.
The invasive vegetation includes Scotch Broom, English Ivy, Gorse, and Daphne. Please bring your own tools, gloves, and water. If you have a tarp, that would also be helpful to bring.
No registration is required, so please share this invite. Note that the work area is not suitable for small children. For this event, please also leave your dog at home.
