Easter Sunday Planting in Cattle Point

This past Sunday, we worked under a stand of June Plum (Oemleria cerasiformis) in an area of Cattle Point, weeding and planting White Faun Lilies (Erythronium oregonum) that Margaret has been nurturing at her home for the past few years.

We had the pleasure of discovering a few Pink Faun Lilies (Erythronium revolutum) in bloom as well!

With time and care, we hope to help nurture another lovely patch of these amazing native wildflowers, like the one that is not far from our worksite (pictured).

Thanks to all who came out to take part!

We hope to see you out next Sunday – 1:00PM at the Cattle Point Kiosk (or follow the flags if you arrive late).
