Friends of Uplands Park – Cattle Point Geotour

Cattle Point is one of Victoria’s stellar geological sites, showing fascinating bedrock features, and perfectly preserved trces of ice and meltwater streams from the last glaciation. FOUP has invited three geologists from the Geological Survey, BC Ministry of Energy and Mines, to demonstrate how to recognize key clues of the ancient and not so ancient history of this area. Dress for the weather. No hammers please. Cameras welcome to record this natural work of art.
