Have a few hours to get outside this weekend?
Why not join us in Uplands Park on Sunday (1-3pm) to help remove scotch broom and crow garlic?
COVID protocols in place and tools provided – just dress for the weather and meet us at the Cattle Point Info Kiosk.
Not only will you help restore an invaluable example of the endangered Garry oak ecosystem and help native wildflowers like harvest brodiaea (pictured; Brodiaea coronaria), you’ll hear from Margaret and Wylie (FOUP’s president and vice-president) on the importance of the park’s ecosystems and the work being done to protect them!
Hope to see you there 😉
