UPLANDS PARK with Friends of Uplands Park
Sunday November 1: 1 to 3pm
Meet at the Dorset entrance near Beach Drive and follow the flags. Safe tools and gloves provided. Get outside, work off some Hallowe’en calories and enjoy a social event while helping nature.
ANDERSON HILL with Christina Johnson-Dean
Saturday October 31: 10 to 12noon
Christina will be on the trail forking south off the Centennial Trail that goes to the driveway to Beach Dr this Sat Oct 31 by 10 am. Join her if you can!! Christina JD 250-208-5720
Check out our new native plants on Earn St where the Centennial Trail comes up from Transit Rd and meets Island Rd. Lots of red flowering currant, ferns, hare grass, columbines, wild strawberry, yarrow, new oak trees, and hidden underground are camas bulbs.
Meanwhile we clear more ivy along the trail on Wed. and Thu am with Monterey Middle School.
