Uplands Park and Oak Bay are on the ancestral territory of the Lekwungen people, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We respect and honour their vital relationship with these lands and waters and how they have cared for them through countless generations, continuing to the present and into the future.

The Friends of Uplands Park invites you to help remove invasive plants at Cattle Point. Features exercise, meeting new people and having FUN! It is so rewarding to see a Garry Oak tree free of ivy and it does not take long to free a tree from the grip of this invasive. So please join us in freeing the Garry Oaks from Ivy and help to remove the invasive Daphne.

Friends of Uplands Park and the Greater Victoria Green Team need help to remove English ivy and Daphne laureola between the entrance road and the cliffs. Tools & refreshments provided.
