Friends of Uplands Park Society
Uplands Park and Oak Bay are on the ancestral territory of the Lekwungen people, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We respect and honour their vital relationship with these lands and waters and how they have cared for them through countless generations, continuing to the present and into the future.
The monthly Friends of Uplands Park Bird Walk, led by expert birder, Geoffrey Newell, takes place on Saturday, November 28, 2015.
Meet at 9:00 AM down at Cattle Point to view marine birds and then ramble through Uplands Park locating birds with your binoculars and hearing their voices. Suitable those over the age of 10 years.
