Oak Bay Tree Appreciation Day – The Friends of Uplands Park invites your participation in Oak Bay’s Annual Tree Appreciation Day, an annual event hosted by Recreation Oak Bay:
- Meeting Place: Uplands Park “entrance” sign on Beach Drive across from parking lot.
- Date: Sunday November 8, 2015
- Time: 10:00AM – 12:00PM
- Activities: Help plant native plants in areas recently cleared of invasive plants. A family event. Refreshments & some tools provided, but please bring your own trowels, gloves, and shovels, if you have some.
Urban Forest Walk – A companion event hosted by HAT (Habitat Acquisition Trust) and FOUP (Friends of Uplands Park)
- Meeting Place: Uplands Park “entrance” sign on Beach Drive across from parking lot.

- Time: 11:30AM – 1:00PM
- Activities: Walk through Uplands Park with FOUP & HAT experts. Jjoin Dr. Larry McCann, UVic expert on the history of the Uplands neighbourhood, for a walk in the Uplands.
